Walking or biking
Walking Route Giethoorn:
- Take the exit “Centrum Giethoorn”.
- Walk all the way down the boulevard (Ds. Hylkemaweg) until the end, behind the church.
- Cross the small wooden bridge and walk around the church.
- At the canal (Dorpsgracht) next to the church you will see a high bridge.
- Walk over the high bridge and follow the Dorpsgracht.
- After the second high bridge, the canal (Dorpsgracht) will be on your right-hand side.
- Continue for another 50 metres and you will see Recreatiebedrijf Geythorn, Binnenpad 42, on your left.
END: This is your destination if you have a reservation here or if you want to start your day with fresh coffee or a delicious snack.
CONTINUE: Follow the path if you have booked at Broer Botenverhuur, Binnenpad 16.
This is only 200 metres further.
- Follow the path; after 100 metres you will see “De Oude Aarde” museum across the water on your right. Continue along the path.
- After another 100 metres you will see Broer Botenverhuur, Binnenpad 16, on your left.
END: This is your destination if you have booked with Broer Botenverhuur.
