Take the train to Steenwijk.
Exit the station at Steenwijk.
Take the bus (line 70) at the station (direction Zwolle, via Zwartsluis).
Get off at the bus stop “Centrum” on Dominee Hylkemaweg in the centre of Giethoorn.
- Walk all the way down the boulevard (Ds. Hylkemaweg) until the end, behind the church.
- Cross the small wooden bridge and walk around the church.
- At the canal (Dorpsgracht) next to the church you will see a high bridge.
- Cross the high bridge and follow the Dorpsgracht.
- After the second set of high bridges, the canal (Dorpsgracht) will now be on your right-hand side.
- Continue for about 50 metres and you will see Recreatiebedrijf Geythorn, Binnenpad 42, on your left.
END: This is your destination if you have a reservation here, or if you want to start your day with fresh coffee or a nice snack.
CONTINUE: Follow the path if you have booked at Broer Botenverhuur, Binnenpad 16.
This is only 200 metres further.
- Follow the path; after 100 metres you will see the “Oude Aarde” museum across the water on your right. Continue along the path.
- After another 100 metres you will see Broer Botenverhuur, Binnenpad 16, on your left.
