Many of the canals in Giethoorn are approximately one metre deep. Renting a sloop is therefore also suitable for families with young children.
There is enough space in the sloop for a stroller, buggy or Maxi-Cosi. These can be placed safely on the floor of the boat. Children without a swimming certificate are always provided with a life jacket for their safety.
