Step aboard the traditional boat of Giethoorn: the sailing punter. With a sailing punter you can peacefully sail across the Bovenwijde lake and explore the beautiful and picturesque surroundings of Giethoorn. Cruise in an authentic way along charming canals and the famous bridges.

• Rental per day or for multiple days

A sailing punter is not powered by an electric motor. You move the boat using a traditional punter pole and by sailing on the Bovenwijde lake.

Punt through the village, sail across the Bovenwijde lake, or moor your boat at a jetty for lunch or a visit to a museum.

Upgrade Your Reservation

You can extend your reservation with several optional extras:

• Coffee / tea / soft drink with apple pie and whipped cream
• Picnic package (3 sandwiches, drink, piece of fruit and a savoury snack)
• Plate meal (various snacks of your choice with fresh salad and fries)
• Life jackets
