EXTERNAL PRIVACY STATEMENT
Introduction
This is the privacy statement of Boothuren Giethoorn. In the performance of our activities, we process personal data. We highly value privacy, and therefore, in this statement, we explain how we handle personal data within our organization.
Personal Data
We obtain your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because this data is actively provided to us by you or a third party. We subsequently process this data in accordance with the applicable regulations and our privacy statement. All this is done with the purpose of serving you even better.

- Contact details shared via an app

We process your personal data only with your consent and/or because it is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you, and/or for complying with a legal obligation, and/or for the protection of vital interests, and/or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, and/or for the purposes of our legitimate interests.
We process your special categories of personal data only insofar as the law permits us to do so.
We process your personal data, among others, for the following purposes:

- To inform you about our goods and services
- To inform you about our promotions, events, etc.
- To respond to your questions, comments, complaints, etc.
- To deliver our goods and services to you
If we request your personal data, you are not obligated to provide it to us. However, if you do not (fully) provide the requested data, this may negatively affect the services we can offer you.
We store your personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above. Once the purpose has been achieved, we aim to remove your data from our administration within 3 months.
Your personal data is not only used internally by us, but, if necessary for achieving the aforementioned purposes, may also be shared with our suppliers and partners with whom we have concluded data processing agreements. Unless we are legally obliged to do so, we will not share your personal data with third parties beyond these purposes. We do not have the right to sell your personal data to third parties.
Your personal data is stored within the EU and will not be shared by us with companies/institutions outside the EEA. We do not use automated decision-making and/or profiling.

In accordance with current technological standards, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. We do this by: collecting no more data from you than we actually need for achieving our purposes; limiting internal access to your data to those who genuinely require access; and ensuring strong physical and digital security measures for your data externally.

If desired, you may request access to your personal data (or receive a copy thereof), request rectification or supplementation, and/or request erasure in whole or in part, or request transfer of your data to a third party (data portability). Except in special cases, no costs are associated with these requests.
